Working with Waterloo Design has been a pleasant and fruitful experience. The two design sessions were highly productive in formulating my view of a low-maintenance and colorful lawn. I can't wait to see and enjoy the finished product!
Highly would recommend the team from start to finish this was a wondeful stress free, no pressure process and could not be happier with how all the projects turned out, further more the team checks in to see how certain plants are fairing and even swapped ones out as we learned what worked best. We truly could not be happier with the space!

We LOVE our yard, and had an exceptional experience working with Waterloo from start to finish. Marian and her team incorporated our eclectic feedback and turned around a design that was better than we ever imagined. It was a big change, and Frank's team showed love for the existing plants and seedlings we wanted to carry forward. They built custom steel planters and edging, rebuilt limestone steps so they looked like modern upgrades to our 1970's home, built a new cedar fence, and built out a gorgeous outdoor kitchen. And so much more. The end result is a backyard oasis, with an orderly front/side yard. All built with low-maintenance native plants, automated drip lines, and low-voltage lighting. We are so happy to have found these folks and recommend them without reservation.
Marian helped us re-think an odd front yard and retaining wall situation. She had great ideas and suggestions. The visuals she produced were helpful during the design phase. We are really happy with how it all turned out and feel that our curb appeal greatly improved!!
I used Waterloo to redesign my entire yard (front, back, and side yards). It was a tricky project because I had limited space and I wanted to pack it full of amenities. Marian and her team answered my wish list and created a functional and beautiful design that solved for everything that I was wanting. They were also intentional about value engineering the design (per my request) to make sure the final project budget would be reasonable.

We used Waterloo to redesign front and back yard and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome! We leveled the back yard and put down turf, while adding poured concrete steps to side and front yard and doing terraced flower beds out front. We are amazed at how well it turned out. Marian was incredible to work with - so fast and efficient with her design process and works seamlessly with contractor Frank. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!?

We hired Marian Mayer in 2017 after our son recommended her! She designed a beautiful back yard space for my 95 year old daddy. He went outside every day. And now we hired her again for landscaping around our new pool. Marian answers immediately… which is fantastic! Her crew is doing great work too!
